AI reads your photo and estimates how old you look
For entertainment only. AI model estimates apparent age from your photo — lighting and photo quality affect the result significantly.
Your photo
For entertainment only. Lighting and photo quality affect this estimate significantly. Take the number with a smile.
Use a recent selfie taken in your normal conditions — not your best-ever photo, just how you typically look. This gives you the most honest apparent age estimate.
The AI scans for skin texture, face brightness, eye openness, and structural signals. It returns an estimated apparent age for that photo in a few seconds.
See the gap. If the AI guesses younger, great. If it guesses older, check the breakdown to see which category is pulling it up — then try a photo with better lighting and see how much the estimate drops.
The Gap Between Your Real Age and How Old You Look
Most people look different from their actual age in photos — sometimes younger, sometimes older. How old do I look? Upload a selfie and the AI estimates your apparent age from the photo. Enter your real age and see the gap. The result also shows you what in the photo is making you look older or younger, and what you can change. Free, private, runs in your browser.
The AI reads visible signals in your photo — skin texture, brightness, facial structure — and estimates how old you appear to be in that specific photo.
The breakdown shows which categories in your photo are reading as older or younger. Skin glow, eye openness, and expression are the biggest variables.
The same person can look 5 to 10 years younger in a better-lit photo. Upload several selfies to find the one that consistently reads as the youngest.
Your photo never leaves your device. The AI runs entirely inside your browser. Nothing is sent anywhere.
Open in Safari or Chrome, upload from your camera roll, and see your apparent age estimate in seconds.
Download your result card and share it anywhere. Fun to compare with friends — especially when the AI is way off.
The gap between how old you are and how old you appear in photos can be surprisingly large — and it shifts between photos of the same person. Here is why:
Lighting changes how skin looks more than any other factor. Overhead lighting creates shadows in the hollows under your eyes and around your nose and mouth — exactly the areas where wrinkles and texture appear first. Those shadows make skin look more textured and the AI reads more texture as older. Soft light from the front fills those shadows and the same skin looks smoother and younger.
Expression changes how your eyes look. Tired, squinting, or tense eyes score consistently older than open, relaxed eyes. This is one of the reasons people look older in photos taken after a long day compared to photos taken in the morning.
Photo sharpness matters because the AI works from detail in the image. A slightly blurry photo is harder to read and tends to estimate older. A sharp, high-resolution photo gives the AI cleaner signals and tends to estimate closer to actual age.
The age estimation works from visible signals in the photo:
Skin texture visibility — how much fine texture and variation appears in the skin area. More visible texture = older estimate. Better lighting = less visible texture = younger estimate.
Eye openness and brightness — how open the eyes are and how clearly lit the iris is. Tired or half-open eyes = older. Bright, open eyes = younger.
Skin luminance — overall brightness and evenness of the skin region. Brighter, more even skin = younger estimate.
Jawline definition — how clearly the edge of the jaw reads in the image. Soft or unclear jawline = older. This is affected by angle and lighting, not just by the actual jawline.
In order of impact:
You do not need new skincare or new angles. You need better light:
